Time to build a new wheel - should be fun!

Sadly, it's the second try. This replaces the wheel I had maybe 200 miles on when it got hit by a car last August. I built it for the new bike (coming in a month or so). Now that wheel is sitting in the law firm's basement with a trashed rim. That was a sweet, sweet wheel.

So here goes again. Its a fix-fix double sided Miche Pista with 32 spoke deep Velocity Aero rim and Revolution spokes, 3X. (The heavy Aero rim was picked despite its weight because the rim is deep enough that I should be able to do a 5 tooth of more cog change without resetting the brake pads. It is also a very true and reliable rim, one of the best I've ridden on that score.

I'm off to start lacing. See ya.

So what if its a bit heavy Ben. I think you're gonna like it. Good luck on it.

Good call on the deep section rim to allow fore-aft cog changes without adjusting the brakes. I can barely do a 2 tooth change with no brake adjustment.
