i just got rid of my old sc superlight. supposedly the single pivot design is helped a lot by the new shock technology.

I went jekyll, superlight, blur, 29er. I do not know about single pivots as it has been a while, but they have some limitations. glad that specialized is no longer suing companies that use more than one pivot as they work lots better. until the jekyll and superlight came along all atb rear suspension was wrapped up in pedal bob. so many had all kinds of weird things that would stiffen the susp when pedaling and stuff like that, none really worked. when the jekyll and superlight came along all that went out the window and rear squish has really evolved.
price is right and it is a 29er, but the technology is limited in certain situations. wonder how much shock tech might overcome that? they will probably sell a boat load, but I would save for the tallboy blur

Pretty cheap IMHO. The frame comes with a pretty sophisticated shock too.
