Looks like Chavanel just kick started the race. 20-30 left in contention.

And ouch, crash, in the run in to Patersberg.

Pozzato is looking very good :-)

    So is Sagan.

The wise man said follow me...and he walked behind.

Oh man, Cancellara's wreck and injuries seemed yucky. Too bad. Fast healing for him I hope.

2 Italians and 1 Belgian, Boonen will win as they will look at each other

Ballan looked like he was trying to tire Boonen for Pozzato with those mini attacks, but no such luck. Big year for Boonen.

There was a quick flash of Gilbert weaving all over the final Patersberg climb...flashback of Cav in MSR. Looks to be a tough year in making for him.

Meh on the new course. Miss the Muur. Sagan, its not if he'll win Flanders but when and how many times. A small tactical error or he'd have had that. Roubaix here we come

Boonen reminded me of the Lion of Flanders as he drug his fat butt up the Patterberg. they need that a little closer to the end to encourage folks going a bit ballistic

Fat butt? Wow, high standards around here. He seems to be going well for a chubby guy.

Cancellara's collarbone, bad enough, sounds way mo' better than the earlier fractured hip reports.

looked like boonen almost got dropped on that last climb - but was able to hang on = game over for just about anyone he's with

missing the Muur for sure, but I thought it was decent race, only caught the last bit, hit an early AM MTB Ride, completely forgot that this was on this morning, hoping Versus, or who ever they are now has some replays today

Not sure if we watched the same race. With or without the Muur the race was great. The Muur is more legendary than anything else, it has only been a game changer a few times. This race looked plenty hard, the three strongest guys were well deserved the end. I would rather see a podium sprint then the sprint for second! Besides, there is only one rider that can power off the front and he hit the dirt early in the chase.

Can’t wait for PR, after watching the strength of the classics teams BMC might want to keep Phinney down for another year, the sucky Garmin needs to bench Rathe for PR.

So my church, i.e. tv, had no coverage. So Boonen won? Sucks to hear about FC. Was he riding my new dream bike, the Domanee?

I think he was ken, he's been on that bike since MSR. You can get one through Trek on the Project One? right now from what I just read about

psssht. Boonen was in no danger of getting dropped on that last, short climb. he was like a bike, maybe a bike-and-a-half back from Ballan and Pozzato over the top.

Yeah, I don't think Boonen was in any trouble at any point. Looked like he was playing a bit of a waiting game, which he's able to now that his sprint is back.

Sagan looked to be running out of juice in the end, saw him grabbing in pack pockets on couple occasions. He just needs to grow a little bit stronger and he'll be playing for the win in races like this...next year or the one after. Boonen said 3-4 years the other day but I think by then we'll have seen a changing of the guard with Sagan eating Boonen's lunch.
