Looks like Boonen had a nice training day at the Scheldeprijs. Who is gonna stop him come Sunday?

The wise man said follow me...and he walked behind.

Outside of a wreck....I don't see another team with the horses AND a leader with the form to stop Omega Pharma-Quick Step.

I wouldn't discount Pozzato, either. BMC is still loaded. Garmin is strong. Teams could do like they did to Cancellata last year. They still have to stay on his wheel but it makes life hard for him. And, this Roubaix. All it takes is a little bad luck at the wrong time

Difference is, Tommeke is more than happy to let it come to a bunch finish in the velodrome.

That, plus Tom has a way stronger team then Cancellara had/has.

Who beats Tom? Not sure. Best bet is to repeat last year's scenario. You know that Garmin and BMC will send someone strong up the road. Who else gets in that move? One problem that Pharma does not have though: their team is stacked and they can chase down a group. Cancellara did not have that last year, and lost because of it.

Sorry I cannot trust Hushovd until he shows me. This year he has been a lot of promises and whining. Like for Flanders, where I was wrong, I will suggest someone from the second tier will win. In other words, last year will repeat itself.

On Tommeke - if he races like he has in the past here, he will win. He can flat motor when he gets it going, and his last win he just destroyed everyone else on the way into town.

With Wilifred Peeters calling the game plan, I just don't see any other team having a chance unless Boonen or Chavanel crash out.

I don't have conviction as I think it'll be Boonen. But Matti B or EBH as dark horse candidates...

Ballan was super strong last Sunday. He'll be there at the end.
