Just received these Pearl Izumi gloves from an ebay purchase. Nice quality gloves for $10 with free shipping. They made it to my door (shipped from China) in ten days.

Done. Thanks!

cool thanks for the link. i just won some team china cycling booties for $.99 this week on eBay. need all the aero advantage i can get... there's been some good deals on eBay lately.

I don't know. The last two pair of Pearl gloves fell apart after the first two washings. I've gone back to NashBar gloves of all things. They last.....................it's that simple.
-
I must be old fashioned, have never ever set foot on eBay.
The best gloves are the ones that Boonen wears.
Man this place is deserted; I was hoping for some excitement during 2hr LAX layover on way to Brissie. I guess that'll have to come from free bar.
The wise man said follow me...and he walked behind. -
Seems like all the cycling clothing available on ebay is coming out of China. Not too impressed with the quality of Chinese manufacturing. Is all PI made in China now?
I bought a pair of their 'Select' Bib Shorts from my LBS last fall and got about half dozen hand washings out of them before the seams in the chamois started coming out.

Those gloves are probably a PI knock off, just like Carbon wheels. PI sells their excess inventory at their stores, or to Sierra Trading Post type outlets.

Just thought I'd jump in here...The gloves are probably not knock- offs. They are pretty decent quality and were mounted on a PI display card. I'm guessing they were probably "overstock" from the Chinese manufacturer. I've got about 150 miles on the gloves now, and they feel great. Already ordered another pair.

You can scroll down and see one of the pair that the ebay retailer sells. Is this real Pearl stuff? Just wondering, not trying to argue about it.
-
If you can get those PI products at those prices, it would be a nice little business.
-
yep - those gloves are bogus rip-offs. There is much Chinese fake products on ebay - from high end motorcycle gloves (can run $300/pr for the real products) to North Face jackets - if you see it at < 50% retail & the deal is too good to be true - you're right
-
FWIW, there are no gloves like that on OI's website and I don't recall seeing something similar last year.
And they don't call their gloves BMX gloves, either.
Just say "NO!!" to WCP!

Check this place out Chinese carbon heaven.

They may be knock-offs, but they did a good job of copying the PI hard-card display card that the gloves come mounted to, which is not normally the case with pure Chinese knock-offs.
There were some Continental tires that were on the market a while back, Attack/Force set-ups, for a fraction of their normal cost. The seller listed them "without box to save on shipping costs." When I asked what the additional cost would be to ship the box, too, my question went unanswered. They were, of course, Chinese knock-offs of the German-made tires.
These gloves, IMO, are "after hour runs." That's where the plant in China makes a "few" more of the items than requested by the foreign corporation and these items mysteriously appear on the market from unusual sources. One more reason to avoid manufacturing in Asia.

They look like they're an older model. Nothing wrong with that.
