My first real road bike was this exact model in Green and white instead of orange and yellow.
Sappie...you are making me think bad thoughts...lol!

Bob is such a bartape nazi...=)
Old steel + chrome + alloy group = dead sexy.
The threadless stem with adapter detracts just a bit from the vintage look, but I've seen worse. At least you got a polished stem. You did good with the alloy group too. With steel frames still so popular, I wish Campagnolo and Shimano would offer a modern "retro" group that would look better on skinny tubed bikes...get rid of the fat looking outboard BB/cranksets and offer something with a cartridge BB. Maybe reviving the old Sante monniker.
Years ago, I found a nice quill stem and bought it figuring someday a nice old steel frame would come along. This summer, it did...

Tai, you need to get on the lookout for a proper seatpost for that. Drop some coin on a Nitto Crystal Fellow.

Ritchey had them rebadged as their WCS model back when I purchased my frame. Beautiful. Functional. Simple.
Keith, I wish I knew you were at the '08 Framebuilder's show here in Portland. I probably walked past you a half dozen times.

KR...I know...the carbon Record post just doesn't quite do it. It was sitting in my stash and this is the only Campagnolo equipped bike I own...seems fitting. This thing is meant to be a daily driver not a garage princess. Hard to see but the paint isn't tip top. I never got around to swapping out the blue saddle and now have a set of BMX flat pedals on it.
I was at the '08 NAHBS show too...probably saw you but didn't know what you looked like until we hooked up on FB more recently.
