Am I crazy but in a race like the TDF isn't the DS behind the wheel on the left side of the car ? Wouldn't that be backwards for a European car ? Do they all do that or do some sit on the left and some on the right ?
I swear I remember seeing them handing up bottles out of the left side of the car.
Is there some rule for this ?
The continental teams obviously have the steering wheel on the left side of the car as the whole continental Europe drives on the right side of the road. Even Sky seems to have their team cars with similar set-up: http://www.teamsky.com/article/0,,25884_7851841,00+en-USS_01DBC.html
Wouldn't it make far more sense to rule that the DS cannot drive? Aren't they a little preoccupied?

90% of Europe is right side drive, basically the UK is the only left side drive.
