How close are you to the snow? If close take advantage of it. As someone who lives in San Diego we have to make big plans to play in it. We spend 2 days at the in-laws and on the way home planned to tube at Wrightwood in Socal. We got there about 11 and the parking lot was full and a 2 hour line cancelled our plans. We did manage to stop along the road and play for a few minutes but we did not have a sled. Fortunately a very nice man let my kids use these so they did get a couple of runs.
