Have been thinking about getting a new bike for 2013. Currently have a Cannondale Caad9 with Rival/Force crankset that I bought in Feb 2010. It has about 21,000 miles on it. Still love the bike, but kinda feel like changing things up. Have had my eye on a Supersix Evo with Red, but have taken an interest in Focus as well (though I havent ridden one yet). They appear to be superb value and now I see that Colorado Cyclist has the Izalco Pro 1.0 2012 model on sale (and in my size). Spec'd with full Dura-ace and a Rotor 3D crankset for the BB30 frame. Problem? It's the 53/39 race crankset (compact sold out immediately). Price reduced from $4600 to $2800. So...should I pull the trigger on deal? With the price reduction I could spend a little extra cash to change to compact and sell off the std Rotor. Or I could toss on the Force compact crankset from my Cannondale.
What to do?
For those of you riding a Focus, how do you like it and would you buy it again?
Thanks,
Steve
