So who will step up and snag this guy if Katusha's appeal to the UCI falls through?
Which team could give him the best support to give Contador & Co a run?
Purito?

That's assuming Rodriguez would leave. He has said that he would stay regardless of the outcome. Did you feel Contador was going to leave Saxo if, as was quite possible, they had not gotten a World Tour license?

After not following the news much the last few days I see that he has recently changed his mind and says he would leave Katusha if he couldn't be guaranteed a spot in the Tour. So, I understand your question now.

would the Russians let him leave? If he tries he should watch out for "accidents" and positive tests. I agree with the UCI for once on this one, there is an ethical problem with Katusha that bothers even an ethically challenged organization like the UCI. It must be bad

Euskatel could use him but they're penniless.
The wise man said follow me...and he walked behind. -
They don't have a choice. His contract says if they don't have World Tour team status, he can leave.would the Russians let him leave
Just say "NO!!" to WCP!
"Want to get faster? Work harder, eat better, cut the crap. Instead of talking the talk, work the work" -
not without an "accident" CK

read something about Argos, but just a rumor sat this point
Jacobus, I had read that he wants to ride the tour, more suited to his style, he feels that is his best chance for a Grand Tour victory. But, no guarantee that Katusha will get an invite.
We'll see what the future holds
