    I just saw Les Mis and I would rather have spent two and a half hours on my rollers. My wife wanted to see it and she liked it so it wasn't a total waste.

    That's because any activity that gets your HR up to a high rate will increase V02max - which is highly dependent on heart stroke volume.

    Running in the off season is also excellent for weight control.

    thinline, I got you beat....I ride my ROLLERS in the dark :-). Seriously though, I may give it a try....I have "rumble strips" near the ends of the drums so that I know when I start drifting. I may start by riding with my headlight on.

    Rollers I can ride a long time. A trainer is torture for me.
