I am liking Cav more and more as time passes.

I've liked him from the start. I hope his new team is a good place for him. I find his sprints more interesting (Cab might not like it as much) when he has to poach wheels and fight for position

I've always liked him. Boatloads of talent and not excessively vain for a sprinter. I think he's great for the sport.

The new colors look good on him. The guy will have his leadout train this year, not a good sign for the rest of the sprinters.
Someone sent us a couple of Cav's DVD's to our shop, one was about improving your sprint, the other was "The Manx Missile's Climbing Secrets" cracked us up to no end

Yes +1 to all. Only sprinter worth watching and rooting for at this year's TDF. His arrogance rightfully has class and he his talent is right up there with Ccipo. Not fan of Sagan and but it will be fun to see them fight for the line. Actually I am excited about this this season but again I'm always excited about upcoming races.

Isn't the secret to mount the missile on a booster? While the rest of the peloton rides for hours to get to the big climbs, the Manx Missile is cooling in in a silo outside the starting city. The booster is then fired a few minutes after the leaders come in. If the timing is right, he lands about as the grupetto arrives.

Hab, look at the rider between Boonen and Cav

"Riding is about rhythm and flow. It's the wind in your face and the challange of hammering up a long hill. It's the reward at the top and the thrill of a high-speed descent. Biking lets you come alive both in body and spirit."

Brash as Cav' may be, I've always liked the fact that he has always, always thanked his teammates first, often, and with feeling. Plus, I always find it sort of amazing to think that he and all the other sprinters except maybe Mcewen probably climb faster than I do (Cat 4 forever!).

And the new jersey is lightyears better than highRoad's disaster of a skeleton/sixpack yellow nightmare from a few years back.

stronz, we're really excited for this years race season. Gianluca is among so many seasoned riders on this team compared to the Colnago team last year.

One thing I like about Cav, the sprinter, is when he is 'in' for the win he gives it everything he has. When he isn't going for the win well he just rides tempo, supports the team, and waits for another day to go play at the front of the pelton.

He doesn't pretend to be anything but a pure-speed racer.
