Thank the erstwhile race radio for this one. Methinks this leak was another test balloon from boy wonder and his ever shrinking brain trust of PR flacks
Hey Floyd, just called to say I'm sorry Bro
-
He has got to be kidding, right?
It is his word versus ours. We like our word. We like where we stand and we like our credibility."--Lance Armstrong. -
'portraying Landis as a fraud' ???
Pot, meet kettle.
I just googled 'biggest sporting fraud'
-
yah, total bullshit.
-
we have truly entered the bizarro universe.

USA Today says "Floyd won in 2006 & Lance 1999-2005"
Lance/Floyd....1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8 in a Row.
USA Today knows the score."Stage17" ranks right up there with "ThoseApples", "TheLook", "TheField", "Musette", "TheWait",
"TTTCrash", "NoGifts" and all the rest. Believe. It is True. -
See...Polish is engaging in the kind of high sarcasm that I like.
It took me a while...but I get you now Polish!
At first I thought you were a Lance apologist...but I smell what you are cookin' now. Good stuff!
-
Landis to Lance: "Fuck you pal, and enjoy your downfall because I sure am!"
"There is no better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance the next time."
Malcolm X -
It's Not About The Spite.
-
I'm with Keith. Polish is serving some seriously succulent sarcasm...but you left out "high side to Gap" "off-roading on the farmer's path" "No chain" "Just following Wheels" "You dont know the whole story" G-d there's gotta be more
-
Keith, the Top Mod over at the CN forums (Susan) thought the same as you. She did not /could not accept I was a true fanboy (still am duh) - found that pretty funny because it IS a bit obvious that.
Anyway, I had to tell her in a PM that I was a fanboy. really and truly. I was permantly banned from the forum shortly afterwords lol. There are a lot on non-fanboys over there yikes.
Seriously, the TdF's 1999-2005 and 2006 were Exceptional and Awesome. Jan/Floyd/Lance were the best thing for FRG/USA Road Cycling. High Water Mark, and I'm glad to have witnessed it. The haterz ruined cycling in the FRG/USA - make no mistake about that.
Big Floyd Fanboy too. Lance & Floyd, Floyd & Lance. And Horner.
PS KR....I you want to pretend its sarcasm, please do. it will be much less annoying that way;)
-
None of the recent "fanboys" have a game anywhere near as good as Splitwheels in his prime.
Just say "NO!!" to WCP!
"Want to get faster? Work harder, eat better, cut the crap. Instead of talking the talk, work the work" -
I think Keith was trying hard to see the good in you, Polish. Obviously he was giving you too much credit.
-
Forumites ask yourself: do you want to a marionnette? Think about it.
-
I hope Landis puts the "screws" to Lance 'high socks' Armstrong and rejects the clammy hand of reconciliation. That's the least douchebag thing Landis could do.
-
Floyd is the head of the Mennonite Mafia now and has moved back to PA. Lance better get on his knees and kiss his pinky ring, if he doesn't want to be fed to the hogs.
LeMond VO2 max 95, Armstrong 82....doh -
Polish I admire your confession -- kind of like your hero. But I am curious -- when the words come out of his mouth: "I used performance enhancing drugs to win all 7 tours de France," what happens to your admiration? Doesnt that diminish his victories somewhat? Aren't his accomplishments tarnished? Yeah he still won and beat lots of cheats, but the whole basis for admiring him has been undermined because it was all about him doing it clean, not putting crap into his newly cancer-free body, about beating all the idiots who had to use drugs to win. Right? So what happens now? Everything's the same and he's still the coolest thing ever? As someone we all know might say: C'MON SON
-
Of course it diminishes his victories, not to mention the whole sport of cycling. We're talking about a one day racer who struggled in the mountains and time trials in the early 90's only to make a miraculous transformation after he mastered the science, or the art of doping. A lot of my friends used to laugh at me when I told them that cycling is a sport that requires talent aside from grit; after this whole LA doping fiasco, I find it harder and harder to defend myself.
-
sappie66, agree - KR WAS giving me too much credit. That is why I set him straight. I've always been a fanboy (except early 90's) - never said or acted otherwise.
stronz, what confession? That I am a Lance fan? C'mon. And I still admire BigMig, still admire Eddy, and Marco & Floyd & on and on and on. Admire them for their Pro Cycling awesomeness. Look, Lance was NOT transformed by blood transfusions or EPO or this or that. That is the difference between donkeys (that CAN be temporarily transformed aka JV or Kohl) and thoroughbreds grrr where peds are not as important.
And when all is said and done with this witch hunt, finally, Lance will feel a lot better.
-
I was also banned from a forum, at the height of the witch hunt hysteria, then found this place. Polish is the real deal. See him on twitter:
Going up against the biggest haters head-to-head.

-
The real deal to all of his 169 followers.... Shit yeah
-
Polish is not worried about followers. Lance has 3,869,613 followers + 169 of Polishes is 3,86978. Quite the army I would say.

Positively True
