Wonder what are her thoughts on the matter?

LA finally being busted, that is.

I also wonder just who of the celebs he used to pall around with will now return his calls?

Hmmmm....in addition to serious cognitive dissonance issues, it seems Spear boy has reading comprehension issues, as well.

who she said confessed to her that he used performance-enhancing drugs during his string of Tour de France victories

Seriously....you aren't even close to being in the same park as Split Wheels.

Yep, if that is accurate, he is going down in a flaming trail of carnage with Oprah running color commentary all the way.

Spear really? This goes on for how long? Do you even own a bicycle?

You all have not even seen the interview. But you all must have consumed massive quantities of hater tots or are salivating at the mouth for you next fix of them. I feel your pain. You are all better of letting the facts speak for themselves without you projecting on them.

Oh no Spear they got to Bernard Kohl as well, now he is eating Hater Tot's too:

"Austrian cyclist Bernhard Kohl, who was stripped of third place at the 2008 Tour de France after a positive dope test, said the much-anticipated interview was unlikely to change cycling.

“It won’t shock anyone anymore if Armstrong admits everything,” Kohl told the Austria Press Agency.

“There won’t be a loud bang. Everyone knows that he did it. When you think of everything that’s come out in the last 10 years, then you know how this sport works … we’ll never root it (doping) out.”

Bernard Kohl is as stupid as they get.

Stefan Matchiner told him to stay away from CERA as it was detectable.

He also told him, one extra bloodbag and you'll be on podium but Kohl was too chicken for that.

    And what happened? LOL!

The wise man said follow me...and he walked behind.

WHAT!!!!??? Another post about Lance Armstrong???

Seriously. Was thinking last night about this.

Imagine yourself in the position LA has been in for a long time. Over and over again repeatedly insisting he was not using PEDs (which as far as I'm concerned he had a perfect right to do since it was his own body and everyone else who mattered was doing them too.)

I cannot picture myself having the kind of grit it would take to publicly repeat the same lies over and over again boldly in public knowing that you could fill at least one bus, if not a fleet of them, with people who knew, absolutely KNEW from first hand experience he was bending the truth a little bit. OK, a big bit.

It's one thing to tell a lie when you are the only one who knows for sure you are lying. To be able to lie so flagrantly when you know that a lot of people know better...that has to be a process that case hardens him to the point where his armor is about a foot thick. Man, is this guy ready for politics or what??

p.s. What scares me about it is that he's crafted himself to be a republican and if that turns out to be the case I'm not going to be happy about it.

    PA Biker,

Excellent question! While we all opine on many topics here on a regular basis, at some point now and then we all talk about an epic ride, a new challenge, a new bike etc. And, I don't recall ever hearing 7tdf mention owning, much less riding, a bike.

I could be wrong, could have missed it because I don't read everything he posts. And if so, 7tdf, I apologize for the oversight. If not, well, I guess you really take that "It's Not About The Bike" stuff to heart.

Come on, fella, post about something biking related, as in you riding a bike. Make us believe!

Armstrong once led, "The most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen."

Right there is my problem with this entire matter. I cannot help but admire competence. The rules of the inner game required that he had to be good at all aspects to come out on top. He wasn't a pioneer, he was just a guy who saw the landscape and did what it took to conquer it. The US gov't did a lot of ugly, nasty things to defeat Germany and Japan. If you focused on that kind of stuff without taking in the entire scope of the situation at the time, you would find many reasons for hating us.

For example, in a book I read recently it was described that to hide it from the Germans that we had broken their code we had to send bombers into certain destruction to conceal the fact we knew they knew we were coming. Several hundred airmen were sent to their death on purpose.

Hold the Crow, CK. A TV apology/admission just does NOT cut it for me, sorry.

I want to see some positive tests, or better yet - Lance testifying under oath.

Then again, testifying under oath is not proof positive. Heck, Lance might not be telling the truth even under oath. I think I will settle for nothing less than a lie-detector test. Preferably a series of tests passed all in a row.

In the meantime I will continue to feast on Nuggets of Awesomness yum.

Weasel sold one company for $1.2B and another for $300M. The last thing he needs is another job. Maybe Johnson can hit him up for a loan.

stormchaser brings up an interesting point...where are Weisel, Stapleton, et al? Why isn't anybody searching them out for quotes or interviews?

How about Ochowicz, since it is now clear that LA was doping in the Motorola days and he is now running BMC?

As usual, the "journalists" in this industry suck....
