Suprebe Pro shifters and rear derailleur...MIA.

Campy Record brushed finish single pivot calipers...no place to be found.

I still have my Campy polished single pivot calipers with the white brake pads...but I am just DISGUSTED right now.

How on earth dis you lose them? Move recently? Maybe in a taped box still?

I am hoping I did not throw them out with my last clean up. But that is what is bugging me. I still have the box of parts that I was gonna throw out and they ain't in there.

That's how I always lose stuff; figure some smart way to store valuable items, then half a year later I have no idea what that smart storage spot is/was. I feel your frustration.

what Bob said, it happens - especially if you put it in a box, its fair game when some "organizing" madness is taking place

I have an old tool box that I keep all of that kind of stuff in. Its big, heavy and important looking to the long suffering Mrs. Jah. What I regret more is selling vintage parts in a moment of weakness. That happened after a set of delta brakes went from paper weights to a new home

OC, exactly. I am sure I put them "someplace safe" now I have no freakin' idea where that was.

So it looks like Suntour Radius shifters and an Olé rear derailleur is gonna have to do it.

Found some never used RX100 dual pivots in a box. I am going for power over vintage cache for the brakes for now.

my mom wants to know where you had them last?

    that never works!

I am disgusted w/ all the *vintage* parts I have NOT managed to loose yet; dusty reminders of my slacker nature.

I have a suntour friction 6 speed shifter if that helps anyone.

How vintage are we talking here?

"Riding is about rhythm and flow. It's the wind in your face and the challange of hammering up a long hill. It's the reward at the top and the thrill of a high-speed descent. Biking lets you come alive both in body and spirit."

Well, the Superbe Pro stuff is from what...late 80's early 90s. Derailleurs used are going for $60-80, NOS well over $100...

One of these and matching DT shifters.

The Record single pivots are early to mid 80's. Not Cobaltos or anything...

I have Suntour Cyclone MKII front and rear derailleurs...they are pretty worn though. I may get a table at the Westminster swap meet next month to unload a lot of stuff. Hopefully I can find it!

Clearly Keith you cannot be trusted. It's my duty to tell you that your only recourse is to send all your bikes and parts to me for safe keeping.

Prof...you are not lying. I am just despondent about the whole thing. The finish on Superbe Pro is just SO nice. I was looking forward to riding it again.
