Gotta admire a kid that's willing to stand up for his convictions in the middle of Taliban country.
I'm trying hard to recollect any of the learnings from the religious teachings at the Catholic HS I attended but can't. I recall the guy that taught that class being a genuinely nice guy who did a lot of work in developing nations. My friends with Irish and Scottish blood coursing through their veins are considerably more scarred than me.
Heck, even my mom is starting to see the light at the end of the religious tunnel!

I tend to have CNN on as background noise at nights and ever since the CT shooting the debate about gun control continues nightly. I am all about the 2nd amendment but cannot justify why one would want to owe a semi-automatic assault weapon. Listening to some of the reasoning of these extremist just blows me away, how ignorant and even racists some of these people are and they have no problem expressing their views. I am sure there will be a few that disagree with me here but it shows how divided we are. It is truly ugly and unattractive to have to be exposed to this. It all stems from education or should I say lack of.

Thanks bob, great kid and gives me hope too. It can be exhausting dealing with the cocktail of ignorance and hatred. The world needs more kids like him.
