I read about Tygart on 60 minutes. Why does Trav hate on Lance.
Trav really, Lance gave you your breakthrough. I can understand it
If you show pity for Lance but outright hate? Just remembe Mr. T,
"I don't have time to hate, but I show haterz what time it is!"

flicker, I think what we have here is a misunderstanding as to what motivates Tygart. You are under the impression that hate motivates him. However you are confusing hate with Mr Tygart actually doing his job. You see in his position with the USADA he is charged with pursing those who illegally use drugs in sports that are sanctioned by the USADA. Cycling and triathlons are two such sports. It could be that Lance is really a great guy, I doubt it, but even if he really where a great guy, why would Tygart look the other way and risk his job for the sake of Lance? If you look at the facts, you will see that Tygart is very good at his job and is doing what his job responsibilities ask him to do. I suspect many employees of UCI could learn about work ethic from Mr Tygart.

well put ibex, you speak in a logical, grammatical, reasoned manner. To put it in terms SOLe Polish can understand [if he / they choose]: Travis T's job is to Hate doping, and catch dopers. That is not the same as hating dopers. Similarly, I don't hate SOLe Polish. As I've said before, I don't hate dog shit. I hate the smell of dog shit, I hate stepping in dog shit and I hate having to clean and polish the soles of my shoes after cleaning off the dog shit. Hate the dog? Never, but his master has a lot to answer for.

I hate to borrow from the wrightings of Aluminumfrog again, but he did speak eloquentyly for the non-haters at one time. So basically what you had with Lance was a dog. A dog that everyone loved. However, while everyone loved the dog no one acknowledged what went into the dog and came out. So much so they that they stuffedup the dog with food and then plugged its but. Everyone knew what was inside the dog. Everyone knows how dogs function. So after 12 years of denial about how dogs run, the dog exploded. For 12 years the haters coaxed the dog to explode. We are at that stage now, just covered in dog shit. And so now who loves the dog? Bakesabit? I bet not.

"Why would Tygart look the other way and risk his job for the sake of Lance?"

Because he has already banned him for life? Maybe? Duh?

Tygart on 60mins what a joke. Joke in a bad way.
Glad I did not watch it.

Tygart says "Lance used more EPO than he lets on"?
What is that supposed to mean. Supposed to do.
Act as a deterrent for other lifetime banned athletes?

How about developing an EPO test. So EPO users will get caught.
Maybe THAT would be a more useful deterrent. Maybe THAT is actually in a Tygart Job Description. Who hired this guy. Probably a murky story there. Betcha.

Oh wait - there already IS an EPO test? 10 years old?
"Oh, but the riders are always ahead of the testers waa"
You have had 10 years to catch up FCOL. What a joke.

Polish, you really need to do some homework here. Based on your observations, it does not appear you understand the properties of EPO in the system, or how the riders actually use it.

EPO is now generally used during training, which is why LA said that there needs to be better out of competition testing. Because of the EPO test, the riders switched to blood transfusions during competition to boost their hematocrit levels during a long tour. Blood transfusions are much harder to detect. The reason AC had a positive for clenbuterol was due to a transfusion during competition.

So, I guess that the parallel universe in which the Sole of the Dark Knight resides, Falling Water would be considered a "wrightling"?

Well played Jah! Here we have a simple windmill that was one of the first things Frank Lloyd Wrighted

I was intrigued with SOLe man's metaphor of "LA as Dog". It made me think: From savage pit bull to irritating little shih tzu... yes, the metaphor works. When combined with the incredible shrinking man-on-couch image it is doubly poignant. I think he carried the fecal metaphor too far, but then he couldn't help himself, could he? He's been carrying Lance's for so long, just force of habit.
