Well played Hey There, well played. You owe me a keyboard! :)

    Love this:
"Linda had something else on her mind: "How do I make him less of an asshole. He doesn't care about anyone."

"Well," LeMond replied. "I can't help you there."

Always was and always will be just a plain old asshole, something his mother realized was an issue 20 years ago.

"There is no better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance the next time."

    lol, ok...okay.

I am going to lay off of 7TdF SOL at this point on the grammar thing.

I am assuming that English is not his primary language, it is the only explanation for this stuff.

It is his word versus ours. We like our word. We like where we stand and we like our credibility."--Lance Armstrong.

KR, the most likely explanation, IMHO, is that it is intentional.

All opinions expressed are unofficial, and probably wrong.

    LOL Hey There!

At his point I wouldn't put it past LA or his "people" to use that defense if he was sued by the government (ie. Floyd's Whistleblower suit).

With the ADA angle, Lance's next target for self-aggrandizement can perhaps be the "Special Olympics".

Jah, I don't think you should mock Polish and SOL and publish their picture that way! It's really not their fault.

SOL: So the sicker he is, the more we should praise he deserves.

or to put it another (SOL) way, he should get his just desserts (sic).

    Holy crapola,

    Full circle, advantage Lance
Not only his new line of defense, but a discrimination law suit as well.
I am not sure they provided proper and safe working conditions either, for someone suffering from this mental illness.

I think not having his father really affected him. He put up a wall and his ego and aloof ways kept people at bay. He channeled all that anger and frustration into his sports and got good at it.

I'm not a Lance fan, but with or w/o the ped's he was still a very good athlete. No matter how we slice it and dice it, it takes a lot of mental strength and focus to do what he did for 7 years in a row. With or w/o ped's. He wasn't the only one using them.

Then add in all the money he was starting to make and a bonafide monster was unleashed.

I wonder if we'd be where we are today if his father was involved in his life? Not having a father affects people in many different ways.

I'm not condoning what LA has done nor do I approve, just trying to understand.

why not? There have been countless threads about him. Everything else has been talked about pertaining to him, why not this?

I think it was all the yellow.

There have been some pretty strong links between exposure to the color yellow and being an asshole.

More research is certainly required; but in the end, I think we'll find out that it really wasn't Lance's fault. The poor decisions he made were largely the result of the yellowism he was suffering from.

Maybe he can start a foundation?
