SKINNY - in order for the posting to work, the photo link needs to end on something like .jpg or .jpeg of similar.

When I click on your first link and select the smallest photo size, then hit right-click properties, you get

    http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8352/8436684788_05b31a26c5.jpg

That is postable using the instructions Tai provided.

The wise man said follow me...and he walked behind.

I'll give the picture posting a shot:

Seven with S&S couplers at La Vuelta Puerto Rico last weekend…

Cervelo P2 on Bear Mountain, NY

De Rosa Replica ’73…this one is for sale (sadly)

I recently sold my Cannondale System Six to fund a Super Six Evo Hi Mod with Hologram SI cranks. Hopefully I can complete the build this week.

Best thread since the You_know_What_revelation stories congested the bike world... THANKS!

    - BTW (#1) posting pics really could be made as simple as drag&drop, eh?

    - BTW (#2) anyone running a tab on this? We're lookin' at serious $$$$

    keep it up!

My pictures came out small :(

They are about 1.2Meg on the hard drive, and listed as JPEG 280X210.
Other's pictures are listed as JPEG 480x360.
    What's up with that?

Durielk...I'm guessing your photobucket account is defaulting to a smaller upload size. There is a place where you can change that setting when you upload the photos.

When I (finally) post the pic of my MTB I expect a full pull of respect. Got a little work to do this weekend, but stay tuned.

    Remember, RESPECT.

System: don't like sevens, but the Cervelo is nice.

Congrats, the thread is hotttttt and a welcome relief from the ...well, you know.

Thanks biketheroad...here's the thread from a few years ago:
    http://forums.competitor.com/topic/172

"Simpler" is relative I suppose. They haven't changed the forum software for many years now. I don't think anyone was complaining about having to type in a bit of code to post pictures back then, but now that most other forums make it so easy to post pictures, this seems archaic and hard. It's only 13 characters of code...once you do it a few times, it's not that bad.

Durielk and Kidwok, the forum software auto adjusts the width of the images to fit inside the message column so as not to bust apart the page layout.

Maybe it would work better if I had text between each picture?

I looked at the posting, this is really not very evident what is going on or how it is compiled into a smaller picture. My pictures are huge.

    I'm about 25' tall.

Jeez, Keith. That trashed roof rack photo is a little too graphic. Gives me the shivers!

One needs to save the photos to 480x360 pixles before posting to photobucket.
