Bob...very nice...did you get the pump painted too? Make sure you put a coat of wax on that thing. I had a Gunnar repainted pearl white and was using it as a rain bike. The silty drips from my brake pads permanently stained the paintjob even though it was clear coated. Looked like crap after one winter.

    Jacques,

I like it fine - I've not ridden it a ton - a whole zero MTB rides last summer (my crappy summer of 50-60 hr work weeks and a lot of work stress) but it seems acceptable. The TT seemed a bit short for an XL frame = I have a 140 stem on it (fookin' crazy for a MTB) but I am not overly stretched out at all. I think that many bike manufacturers are really trying to have people sit [more] upright as of lately.

I need to get the suspension set up by someone who knows something about suspension. I typically make the shock pressure pretty firm (being a larger fellow and I hate pogo-ing) and just go by 'feel' .. vs actually knowing about the set up. I likely have it set up in a jacked up fashion.

One thing about a high-zoot CF MTB - I'm less balsey riding over very technical terrain - cartwheeling this bike could wreck the frame as I've had friends crack CF MTBs with simple tip-overs hitting a rock on their TT. The SS with the AL frame I am less concerned about wrecking. I'm putting a larger rear tire on it - came with a 1.9 as some spec person at Trek was obviously clueless.

I got quite a deal on it = should work for me for a few years here - especially as little as I MTB. (Going to try to White-Rim it again this April)

Only pic I have of my MtB right now behind some boxes in the garage. My season outdoors starts 4/21 after the ski season ends and cataract surgery.

just cleaned it, your basic 2010 liquigas hi mod in a 58 with super record 11, hollowgrams and cosmics. I changed out the saddle for a toupe, the tape is zipp cx which is amazing stuff and the classic bars, stem and post are pro vibe which I like a lot. pedals are look blades and tires are pro 4s. great bike, not nearly as comfy as my system six but its fast as stink and the wheels are a total blast except in super windy conditions.

Missing a couple-- Ti bike on the trainer upstairs, 650b and a couple of framesets elsewhere in the garage

I need to get a shallower section wheelset for the Masi-- the wind moves me around too much
Anyone want a smoking deal on a set of tubular 3T 60mm wheels?

My daughters Bianchi gets all the attention when people look at the bikes
Another carbon road bike? *pfft* But the Milano.. now there's a bike!
