"At the time of 2006 drugs raids it was not illegal in Spain to take drugs, but was rather an issue for the sporting bodies. Fuentes had allegedly told a prison informant when he was arrested as part of a second raid that he had information that could strip Spain of its World Cup and Uefa championship."

If that happened that would be the biggest doping story in history!

I hope it does happen, that's the only way governing bodies will collaborate, and maybe enforce drastic penalties to end this madness. Like I said before the snow ball turning into an avalanche.

The quote about soccer is old news.

I'm actually curious what he knows about the Barca Ole games.

But this about sums it up:

"Arroyo said: “Fuentes himself proposes to give the names and the judge refuses to ask. This is incredible.”

The wise man said follow me...and he walked behind.

too many big spanish names on that list; cycling, soccer, tennis, formula one even? if that judge let him sing she'd be burned at the stake for sure.

It reminds me of that line in Watergate..."I would have told them what I knew...but they never asked me..."

    Wait...WHAT?

Speaking about big cases, this was a big one.

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/olympics/news/2003/04/16/usoc_exum_ap/

Exum claimed more than 100 positive drug tests for U.S. athletes who won 19 Olympic medals from 1988-2000, but that many of them were allowed to compete.

I think many of us are still in WitchHunt SmearJob mode. Like the USADA joke "reasoned decision".

This is the Feds. Not spanish anti-doping Federation - I mean Spanish Government Federation.

It is NOT an anti-doping smearjob. That would be pathetic.
It IS an issue of Athlete Safety. Doctor Fuentes is on trial for endangering Public Health. Not performance enhancement.

A message is being sent to Sports Docs - don't hurt the athletes. This is a VERY important message guys!

    "Name athletes!" "Name athletes!"

Put down the witch's brew guys - this is not a with hunt smearjob

OC, didn't T-gart come to power in a struggle between omerta guys and whistleblowers back then. And T-Gart was NOT on the whistleblower side if memory serves. Pathetic.
