Well done Louisville. Great race. What happened to Mourey? He lost a ton in one lap then seemed to maintain. He didn't change bikes when he was at the front. Maybe he should have?

Lance who??

Awesome race. What happened to Page, from 10th to way back in a hurry.
All opinions expressed are unofficial, and probably wrong. -
Vantornout is NOT happy. looks like he's about to cry. heartbreaking. poor guy is gutted.

What the heck; I thought this race was starting in 1/2hr? Oh well, nothing to be done anyway; will have to watch recap.
Good for Nys. Often had dominant seasons with WC confirmation lacking.
The wise man said follow me...and he walked behind. -
Page was right in front of me when his chain jammed and it took him forever to get it cleared. He went from about -
10th to 30th
Page was riding strong and looked great. Powers never looked comfortable
So cool to be there in person! -
Excellent and smart win by Nys. Very tactical by the numbers race for him. If Pauwels had not had a mechanical, he might have had a tougher time.
I think the Americans need to race consistently in Europe to be contenders. 2 full euro seasons and a rider like Powers would be a different rider I suspect.
Van De Haar has that youthful energy - he's going to be a monster in 2 or 3 years. Cool to see him crawl his way to the front - he really left it all out there.

That was an absolute blast to watch in person. Big, rowdy, noisy crowds. Seeing Nys win was the icing on the cake. A very memorable day

A couple random thoughts that popped in my head just now
1) So many of the women at the Worlds were REALLY tiny, either in height or thinness
2) I saw Marianne Vos at the Foam Party Saturday night and never even recognized her until seeing a photo today. DOH! At least I recognized Barry Wicks, Jonathan Page, Sven Nys and Bart Wellens :-) -
Orange Crush's photo made me think of this video. Check out Nys' reaction after winning on Saturday. He's won a ton of races but some things are special.
