Not certain why the thread got closed, but wanted to clarify that my comment was not meant towards you, but to the situation overall.

    Just say "NO!!" to WCP!

Thanks CK. I suppose it is getting tiresome. Just wanted to query about the legal aspect of it, not so much the LA aspect necessarily.

The MIB are sure getting heavy handed lately. Geez,if you don't like the topic or the author of a thread use the ignore feature.

we need more LA doping threads - Thanks Sappie for doing your part.

Google "LA DOPING" and start topics on everything that pops up - that will help the quality here. There must be a dozen aspects of LA doping that clearly need to be discussed.. right now!

Godforf$#kingbid that people actually talk about bicycles and maybe even riding them at this forum.

The MIB (Keith), is doing a good job.
He kicked me off the forum, making this a better place for all.

I'm going to go with the fewer Lance Armstrong threads here the better. Race season is kicking in so we should have better things to talk about than a washed up racer with legal problems.

I, for one, agree to never start LA thread on this forum.

    Take the oath.

Wasn't really trying to start an LA doping thread. It was about the legal aspect of the mpcc's proposed course of action, which I thought was silly. I guess you did not see that distinction, nazi.

Wasn't about LA being good, bad, doper, or not doper.

Bob, are you suggesting that some people don't like me? :)

I've got no problem with an LA thread permitted it has substance to it.

A lot of LA threads that get started are really about nothing (LA posting on Strava, etc. etc. etc.). It's those that need to be gotten rid off.

The closing of sappie's thread seemed a bit arbitrary.

I will open it back up if you all think it was hasty.

It just looked like Polish bait to me and I felt I would just head it off at the pass.

And yes, I am tired of Lance threads...

Well the reality is that any thread re: LA is gonna be "bait" for some, no matter how well-intentioned the thread may be....

As for the subject itself, Like I said earlier - enough. I don't see how these guys have ANY claim against LA as he was hardly the only rider doping. Now, if they are also filing suits against every other admitted doper, then let 'em have at it.

It is a PR stunt, nothing more.

I thought my SCA thread would have been closed well before Sappie's if the same rules were applied.

FWIW, Sappie, I thought the same thing when I read the article.

That is kind of why I closed sappie's thread. I felt it was redundant.

Geez, KR - I have not started a Lance Thread in months. But I get your message/point, and I promise NOT to start a Lance thread for at least a year. Maybe Valentine Day Lance Thread 2014..

And unlike others who have made the vow to "never start a Lance tthread", I will keep my word. Master of my domain.

Sorry but "my group ride threads" are about as exciting as watching two turtles gettin it on. Agree that LA is over cooked but if you don't like the threads, have enough mental strength to ignore them.
