The presiding judge cut off questions about Riis...

I see great things coming from the Jorge Jaksche testimony.
First of all, going after Manolo Saiz has a great effect on cleaning the sport.
Fuentes and his minions are their own worst enemies.

I think that outing Contador and Vinos' teams would be epic. Contador is about to shrivel,
he rode for Liberty Seguros, Astana, and Riis new team Saxo. Contador has repeatedly crowed about Saiz as a great personal coach. Grrr!

Lookin good for Lance on the 20th, for Alberto on the 22nd, not so good. Could be an 8 year ban coming on
    Bert!

By what rationale do you see Contador getting an 8 year ban? Please elaborate.

Keith, I have been hearing rumors about Contador and Puerto for some years now. Jaksche seems like the most credible witness about the insides of cyclingped usage.
Every team that Contador raced with,(Seguros, Astana, any team involved with Riis, in this case Saxo, Contadors love affair with Saiz,) somebody has to know, what Contadors' doping habits are.

I look back to 2009, when Alberto smoked the field in the climbs and Greg called out Alberto during the rest day press conference. Greg had paperwork in his hand citing an impossible wattage Alberto was producing in the climbs. Greg asked Bert about it. Berts' response, ultra pregunta por favor?

Of course, seeing as the judge cut off the witness, (Jaksche) in the Puerto inquiry when the witness spoke about Riis, hmm, could there be some payola?

There's a few roads leading to Riis these days. In context of Rabo, there's also the email from Riis to Raas re: the Chicken.

But the only satisfactory outcome of Puerto to me is if other sports get taken down. You have to be blind to see that UCI is norm, not the exception. If the sledgehammer gets taken to cycling then by all means, tear professional sports as a whole down. It is satisfactory to see that at moment every second tennis interview seems to revolve around the D question.

But gotta ask Keith, you close one doping thread and then start another? It's all interconnected as far as I'm concerned

I have no problem with doping threads. But a new Lance thread every day is getting O-L-D. Is a thread really necessary ever time someone says something or some obscure firm/organization sues Lance for his behavior?

I am actually thinking of making a Lance thread and just sticking it to the top of the forum. That way the Lancettes can have a place to post their latest missive.

The thing is, with the doping thing, it is all incestuous, innerconnected.
With cycling it (doping) all seems to begin and end with Lance+ he is oh so entertaining.

Getting back on subject though, how are there so many young super rich retired soccer stars.

Could it go back to their preperation, including Fuentes??

A sticky lance thread is a good idea. But yes it's all interconnected.

I think the judge cut off the Riis question simply because Fuentes and cohorts are on trial here; the rest (Alberto included) is witnesses only at moment.

(The judge is a woman, no? You need a different pic :-)

The person on trial at Puerto is Doc Fuentes. For endangering the public health - in this case athletes from many sports. The athletes are NOT on trial - although WADA may try to use evidence that comes out of the trial to go after athletes. Nice.

But that is not what this government trial is about.

BTW, Jorge was a witness for the Prosecution - showing how Doc Fuents was careless with athlete's health.

Alberto is a witness for the Defense.
