Lance started with nothing, he ends with nothing. What has he lost?
    Nothing.

I think even Lance himself would have a problem with your logic on that one Polish.

It is his word versus ours. We like our word. We like where we stand and we like our credibility."--Lance Armstrong.

C'mon watermoc, that whole "Lance dates women who look like his mom" is silly right? You realize that right? Why would someone really care if a guy dates women who look like mom. Did I say "c'mon"? C'mon.

And PrivateJets and Hookers&Blow have been around for a long time. Not invented by Lance. Some of you guys really need to get over some of this stuff. Just think cheese&crackers cheese&crackers cheese&crackers.

I have said it before, he made a fortune as the plaintiff and now he will lose a fortune as the defendant. the ones who make out the best are the legal teams. If anything, Lance created jobs:)

for the record, he dates a lot of chicks that look like his Mom

The media has long noted Lance Armstrong's preference for wiry, long-faced blondes, and a new study shows he might have a hard-wired reason for his sexual predilection: these women look like his mother. (Pictured, from left: Lance's mom, Linda, his ex-wife Kristin, and ex-girlfriend Sheryl Crow). According to a new study, "men were more likely to pair up with women whose bone structure was similar to their own mothers ... Science is creepy!

So, what financial # does Floyd net here. If he wins one cent it will cause a precedent that could become Lances' downfall.
Seems Tygart is on one hella mission. Hopefully he will rid himself of his intestinal blockage, while reeming Armstrong.

    Hi All,

I just read an article on MSN about the DOJ joing the lawsuit against Armstrong and I think it is total bullshit waste of our tax dollars - similar to when Congress was raking Clemens and McGuire over the coals. The are much better endeavors and far worse "criminals" for our government to be chasing!!!

If Armstrong committed actual, provable fraud, then maybe chase him down. But, I think its pretty clear he didn't explicitly promise one thing and then do another. He simply didn't act in accordance to how the Postal Service might have wanted him to. Does it matter that the Postal Service is a group of lazy underachievers that would be out of business if they were not subsidized by the government? Lance Armstrong and the Postal team was the best thing the EVER happened to their image! Just letting consumers know they still existed was worth every penny they gave to the team.

The witch hunt for Armstrong is retarded. I don't care for him myself, not because he lied, but because he lied over and over and over about a really big achievment and hurt a lot of people as he worked to maintain the lie. (If he won one time by doping, no one would even care about this story). However, let us not forget that EVERYBODY (anybody who was in the hunt) was doping and there is no fucking way hundreds if not thousands of people didn't know about it - for at least a decade. Every clean stud rider with a brain had to know he was getting dusted for a single reason. Every trainer, clean or dirty, had to know. Every team manager had to know. Hard to believe most of the team sponsers didn't know. Stud amateurs know why they are not at the elite level.

Like him or hate him, Lance Armstrong crushed everyone 7 times. That takes a man with a vicious ability to focus and compete. Everyone else was doping too, he just did it better and wanted it more than everyone else. There are so few people in this world with that intense competitiveness (Jordon, Tiger) that as much as I want to hate Armstrong for being a selfish, overly cocky tool lacking in personality, my ego has to respect him for his mental strength and competitiveness - something the Postal Service greatly benefited from!

Let's be honest for a second, if you could have Lance train you right now, who wouldn't do it? I want to know how many people with that opportunity would say this "No, I won't let Lance train me because he doped and probably isn't really that good of a natural athlete without the dope."

Everyone was happy to keep their mouths shut while they were feeding off the success of Lance and Postal, but as soon as the ride was over for them (Landis & Hamilton & Postal) then everybody is too happy to bring down the house to benefit themselves or make themselves feel better / look better in the public eye.

Where is the code? Seriously? I am more embarassed for Landis, Hamilton and Postal than I am for Armstrong. Why can't people take their lumps and walk away like lions instead of lambs?

Am I the only one that hope the DOJ gets stuffed?

I imagine I reilly means inteligance. Kinda silly though, pick on a simple mispilling.

Like Do Something, a new poster, gutsy, honest and to the point. Not a hater, an intelligent poster.

Better not to deflect, or worse derail an excellent post, by a simple misspelling. No Japanese Temple is without a flaw. Buddhist Temples have a built in flaw. Lance is like a Zen Temple, perfection with a built in flaw.
The ancients knew how to garnish aesthetics. Lances' Belgian handlers knew that by developing Lances' character flaws on top of his focus created 1234567, Lance the American Hero.

Other than the contract he signed saying the team would be clean....! And considering he admitted he doped in all 7 wins don't you think it's going to be pretty easy to prove. Waste of money...um when the DOJ wins it will be a net gain.

Also Lance in a PART of the suit. ""Defendants in the suit include Tailwind Sports and Montgomery Sports, owned by wealthy San Francisco financier Weisel, as well as Austin-based Capital Sports & Entertainment, which lists Armstrong, Johan Bruyneel, Bill Stapleton, and Bart Knaggs among its principals."

Are you concerned about Bart Knaggs too or just king fraud Lance?

Flicker and Polish-your boy keeps getting bad news every day.

And every bit of it he deserves. Keep singing the same stupid old song about SSDD SSDD SSDD SSDD. The US government joining the whistle blower lawsuit means one thing-Armstrong is going to spend a lot of money on high-priced lawyers just to lose.

No Tour wins, getting sued by everyone under the sun, no income because he's useless as a corporate shill, and his son getting bullied at school because of everything his father has done is quite a legacy to leave.

Still feel pride in your lover boy? Y'all must be so proud of him.

    I-7,

Bet you the suits are going after ARMSTRONG solely. Here is why. If it is a criminal investigation they require a defendant. For the GJ, DAs whatever, to gain political clout they require convictions, the bigger the better. If it is a civil lawsuit, it is easier and cheaper to aquire a settlement from an individual, in this case Lance.
The Pro-Sport system requires a fall guy. Lance is that. What better sport for Mr. Constipation,( Mr.Tygart) to destroy? Easy, fairly transparent and dirty as sin, no one in the USA really cares anyway, but we do love NASCAR, MLB, NBA, and NFL, please Mr. GJ protect these sports!!!!!

Berzin, I guess you think I am a simpleton, well, to each his own.

Specifically, this a classic witch hunt. Characters like Kimmage, who were never very good pro cyclists will crow from their pulpits about the evils of Lance.Ever read a A Dog in a Hat?

    I-7,

I respectfully disagree. Lances' career was besides his drive, focus, vicious competitive discipline, lazerlike focus, natural talent, and aquired tactical acumen, a product of typical Belgian/Polish/Belerussian chemical enhancement.

No different than Ulrich, Ekimov, the Uzbekistanian sprinter, Cioppolini, countless others.

Thusly, USADAs' worm drive of hatage is a witch hunt, not wearing my tinfoil hat here.

When whiners, like Greg, Mrs. Greg, Betsy, Mike Anderson, Floyd,Tyler,Simeoni, come about (please see the worlds smallest Violin) make their big noise about worlds' cheatedness athlete, not such a nice guy, (Lance) a nice guy like Floyd,(puleeze?) Tygart,(Lance used more EPO than anyone else, WTF?) how would he know?

Cycling is a business, as are all pro sports. Not friendship, not patty-cakes, business.

Armstrong was and is the best there ever was.

Do you guys think Tygart really believes that the USPS Doping Program was "the most sophisticated in Sports"?

Is Tygart under-informed? Head of USADA clueless?

    Is Tygart BS'ing. Political BS'ing?

Look, when USPS hired Lance, there were pictures and actual EVIDENCE (NOT insufficient) of EPO/Vials etc etc etc from Festina. Trunk loads of Actual Evidence. Not verbal EPO, actual EPO.

When USPS hired Lance, the US Gold Medal Count included (still does btw) Americans that won Gold Blood Doping. USPS knew that too. Doping in a Hotel Room is more sophisticated doping than a Bus btw again.

The USPS knew very well about doping in Cycling when they jumped on the Lance Bandwagon and profitted imensely. The USPS certainly knew a lot more aboutr doping way back then than Tygart does today.

DOJ/USADA case is an absolute joke. Lance will eat them like Eddy would. Chomp,

P, it simply doesn't matter what anyone thinks. The titles have been stripped, the charity is gone, and financial ruin is on the way. Next stop is a discussion about the settlements once they happen. Until then be safe on the bike.

hate to break this to you flicker but there are rules in business. get caught breaking those rules (e.g. perjury, cheating, stealing, colluding, fraud, corruption etc. etc.) there are usually consequences. that's how it works in the real world; dunno where you live.

Polish-of course Postal's doping program was the most sophisticated ever.

How else would a bum like Armstrong fraudulently win (and then lose) even one Tour let alone seven?

But justice has prevailed, and he's been stricken from the record books because HE NEVER WON THE TOUR.

SSDD WITH YOU. Stop whining and go eat some well-deserved crow (if it makes you happy, it can't be that bad).

Berzin, you believe the USPS doping program was the "most sophisticated in Sports" because of Lance winning his 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 in a row?

Wouldn't "most magical" doping prgram be a better description than "most sophisticated"?

What made it most sophisticated anyway? "White Lunch Bags"? Brown Lunch Bags are less sophisticated? Oh wait, white lunch bags was Tyler before Lance even joined the team. Did Lance bring more sophisticated lunch bag technology to the team? Carbon Lunch Bags?

The "most sophisticated in Sports" comment from Tygart was stupid. Showed ignorance. And from the head of the USADA no less. Guy is not a scientist - he is a political smearjobber.

Clean Athletes should be majorly pissed off at the wada/usada/adawhatever. Incredibly incompetent. How do they keep their jobs is beyond me.
