650 Lynskey MT

Wow. If they can pull this off, won't they sell a ton of these bikes? Ti, made in the US, large tire clearance on the road bikes. At $1100, I am very tempted. What is the general story with Lynksey? Did they used to run Litespeed or Merlin or something like that? More information is needed...

Lynskey was Litespeed, sold out to ABG, got bored and started Lynskey and recently moved back into the space that ABG occupied after they purchased it from Litespeed. Complete circle
For the record, at one time ABG owned Litespeed, Quintana Roo, Tomac and Merlin. Crapped the bed on all of them, think they still own Litespeed which is basically a marketing company that sourced bikes from China

I think ABG's handling of Litespeed and Merlin (well...really all their brands) has been just horrible. They bought two brands known for super high-end ti and then diluted them by offering alum and carbon framesets. There were enough people griping about it at the time to say that this is not just a matter of hindsight being 20/20. People kept saying "Ti is dead. CF is the new thing. Yada yada." as if it excused the downfall of Litespeed and Merlin. Seven and Lynskey have really proved that it wasn't a material issue, but a business issue.

That is a great price! Looks like a winner.
LeMond VO2 max 95, Armstrong 82....doh -
I would consider that - 650 plus ti sounds like a nice all arounder rig. I do mostly cross country stuff and the execution looks very nice.

ain't making my life any easier, still trying to figure out how i'm gonna price frames.
