Anyone else using Map My Ride?

I've been using the iMap My Ride application periodically for the last few years. Seems to work well and the software interface is getting a lot better. Only problem is the iPhone is a lousy platform to use as the battery life is less than ideal. And NO, i don't want to buy one of those clunky iCyclingComputer adapater kits for a zillion dollars when I already have a fine HRM/computer. Just no GPS.

Using Endomondo on the iPhone and yes it does suck the life out of the battery as well. Has all I'm looking for in a ride tracker.

"Riding is about rhythm and flow. It's the wind in your face and the challange of hammering up a long hill. It's the reward at the top and the thrill of a high-speed descent. Biking lets you come alive both in body and spirit."

I think you can also use Fitbit (about 100.00)

I use Map My Ride and like it but I agree it is a total battery vampire!

My rides are normally under or at two hours, so as long as I leave with a full battery, it is sufficient for the entire ride (even while multi-tasking and playing a playlist on Rhapsody.)
