I'm participating in my first Ironman in Tempe, AZ this year and am in need of some advice on what to wear. I am trying to figure out what to wear the day of. Should I wear a trisuit or change at each discipline? Any suggestions?

You really should try to practice wearing a couple different things to decide what you like. I wore a thicker cycling short at my first IM, and then changed into a tri short for the run. The one piece tri suit will make it harder to get off if you stop along the way at a porta-potty. The main thing, of course, is practice-practice-practice what you're going to wear and choose the most comfortable options. Take a few different things with you to accommodate for a possible change in weather once to arrive to AZ. Couple friends of mine raced AZ and didn't arrive with skull caps for the swim. They were able to buy them at the expo, but they weren't prepared before hand for how cold the water would be/feel. Good luck and have fun!

I am guessing if you are going into an Ironman that you have done shorter TRIs already, at least as practice if not formal events. What has experience taught you so far? It's not a good idea to try something new at the real event.
